When the temperatures start soaring basically the entire month of August all I want to do is be at the beach. Unfortunately, when it comes to that matter, I live in Austin and we have no beach. The next best thing is to be dressed in light, easy to wear clothing that will help to alleviate some of the sweating. A double win for me is if it’s a ‘one and done’ outfit, you know, one piece and out the door, your sundresses, maxis and of course rompers.
This black romper I’m wearing here was another find from Tobi. Originally I thought I’d be sending it back because I ordered a medium thinking it would run small, ladies it does not in any way. This thing is huge but after waiting like, I don’t know, 3-5 days for it to arrive along with some other finds I just couldn’t fathom the idea of waiting to send it back and then waiting for another one to come back to me in my size. Patience is the furthest from my strongest traits, but at least I know that. Improvisation however, that I’m good at. I improvised and threw on one of my go-to cinching belts to give this romper a little shape. This romper was supposed to fit very loosely, almost like a dress with leg holes and I’m thinking that I actually prefer this with a belt, it’s more me and it’s definitely more flattering on my figure. I saved this from being a flop which is everyone’s fear when they place an order online, right?
More heat beating rompers (all under $100):
