Well, today I am going to confuse the entire thing just a little more because this quick breakfast is made with pre-made cinnamon rolls so I’m not sure what exactly to call it. Is it monkey bread or cinnamon roll bread? Or what about a pull apart cinnamon roll?
I’ve played with every combination and (hence the title) have finally decided on Apple Cinnamon Roll Pull Apart Bread, boom!
It took me longer to think of the right name for this dish then it actually took to make it.
What makes this breakfast so easy is the pre-made dough aka the can of cinnamon rolls. All you will really need is your favorite can of cinnamon rolls and a little fruit.
I have tried this recipe with both blueberries and shredded apple. I prefer the flavor combination of apple and cinnamon best but you could also try:
This recipe makes enough to feed four people each a large portion but trust me when I tell you you’re going to want to make enough for seconds.
Easy breakfast that's a mix between cinnamon rolls and monkey bread.
Remove cinnamon rolls from packaging and cut each roll into quarters. Seperate pieces and put into baking dish.
Preheat oven to 350°
Grate apple and evenly spread it throughout dish.
Add milk, cinnamon and vanilla then blend thoroughly.
Bake for 25-35 minutes or until cooked throughout.
Remove from oven and use icing to glaze the top.
This simple, Apple Cinnamon Roll recipe has already made its way into my weekly rotation. It tastes so much more complicated than it actually is to make.
