Are Kimonos the new Cardigans?

Has anyone else been crushing over kimonos lately? The shape, the prints, the effortless layer, ah I just love them. I have been a cardigan girl through and through for maaaaany years and its become a constant thing for me to forgo the cardi in place of a kimono as of late. I’m still getting the additional layer for warmth, style and if I’m being completely honest to hide a bit of me on my “fat days” that I would get from a cardigan but the kimono feels so much more cool. It has everything to do with the shape, it’s so carefree, like “Yeah, I’m just gonna hang where I want and just blow in the wind and what?” Cardigans have never been that cool, that rebellious, am I right? So no, kimonos aren’t the new cardigan but the way cooler cousin that all of your other clothing is dying to get paired with. Just sayin.
