Art on the Edge Gala

I can’t tell you guys how excited I am to attend The Art on the Edge Gala this Saturday (tomorrow). A night of art, fundraising, cocktails, dancing and of course, gowns! I rarely go to black tie events, huge bummer, so when I get a chance to dress up, well, I take it.

This past weekend I realized that my procrastination had left me with little options; aka no time “really” left for online shopping. There were just too many “what if’s?”

• What if it doesn’t fit?
• What if I hate it on me?
• What if it doesn’t get here in time? or
• What if it barely gets here in time but needs alterations and theres no time for that?

I went to Barton Creek Mall and luckily found a few really great options, as a matter of fact too many. I need some more galas and soon! So today I thought I’d share some of the dresses I tried on with you guys in case you’re in need of a gown as well, most are linked and if I couldn’t find the exact dress there are a few similar options!

I felt so ladylike in this little number.

I tried on so many dresses and then, writing this post, I was searching for the dresses to link them and fell in love with even more gowns. This one seriously reminds me of a cross between the strappy blue one and the sparkly black, I absolutely love it! & if this gown had been in store it’s seriously what I would be wearing on Saturday; the classic b&w, the detailing and the cut are seriously everything.
