Totally burglar-chic, right? I swear I’m not going the burglar route in this look though, unless you count stealing some looks. (You like that?)
This has been the first winter I’ve really ever worn beanies and I’m not sure if it’s because I traveled to some super chilly spots including NYC and Chicago or because it just became apparent to me how much warmer I am with my head covered up. Seriously ladies, wear a beanie out one day and tell me you aren’t instantly 40% warmer. I didn’t even need a jacket here, don’t mind the goosebumps. Knowing how functional beanies are doesn’t help when you’re trying to throw together a cute outfit though, does it? You have to feel like you’re making a statement when you put something on your head, I know you. You only wear floppy hats and fedora’s why would you throw on a plain beanie? You wouldn’t, I wouldn’t… but beanies are just like any other item and can be accessorized in many ways. Here I put one of my favorite daisy earrings onto my beanie to add a girly touch to this all black outfit. I’ve found myself doing this all season, either with one earring or a cluster of earrings to really make a statement.
