A Holiday Outfit You Probably Already Have in Your Closet

Party season is amongst us. Whether it’s work, family or friends you’re bound to RSVP to a couple holiday parties this year which leads to the all too familiar “What to wear” feeling we all experience. I don’t know about you but I love an unexpected look, I love to forgo the usual cocktail dress and show up in something with some thought behind it. Naturally, I’m drawn to menswear inspired looks so couple that with the fact that it’s freezing and a dress was completely out of the question for me. What I love about this look the most is that it’s all pieces that were found in my closet, no shopping required. I’m sure if you look in your closet you could put together a similar look!

I bought these velvet pants last year from Old Navy and they’re still available you guys and at under $50 they are a must staple piece. Yes I get the most wear in the winter but knowing that I can easily wear them to an office setting or jazz them up to carry over to a party makes them an ideal piece to have in my arsenal. The bodysuit has been a recent go-to piece for almost every outfit-it’s just so versatile, the perfect base to an outfit.
