Cargo meets Satin

I’ve always been one to mix high-end with inexpensive, pearls with leather and today, casual with dressy. I’ve probably had this lbd for around 7 years, along with a couple other. Why get rid of a classic little black dress? This outfit is proof enough that you can literally wear them with anything. I have quite the extensive collection of lbd’s from my cocktail-waitressing days and I’ve noticed more times than not I’m dressing my dresses down for a nice casual day look. Today I paired this satin shift dress with my favorite piece of outerwear at the moment, my olive, utility jacket, along with these nude strappy sandals that I scored from H&M for under $20 (can you say super score?) and this nude clutch that I’ve also had in my closet for near a decade, topped with some key accessories and classic aviators, I do believe this dress is all day, errand running appropriate now.
