Classic Black & White

You’ve probably noticed by now that I’m a little more than kind of partial to black and white outfits. Besides being universally flattering colors and easily paired with any other color there’s another, more important reason why I stock up on these classic hues. I gave you a hint in that last sentence, did you catch it? They’re classic, you feel comfortable in these hues whether you’re dressing up or down you can always reach for b&w, its always appropriate.

I wore this outfit to a networking event last week. I wanted to look chic but still very approachable so black and white was my immediate go to. I then chose semi casual, lightwieght pieces since it was an outside venue in the dead of this Texas summer. This tank from Tobi has the cutest lace detail on the side which gives it just a little something extra. Paired with these cropped skinny jeans from Forever 21 and my laser cut sandals from Target, this is such a cost conscious outfit. The only pieces over $30 are the watch and cutie Rebecca Minkoff camera bag.
