Comfortably Walking Through Summer with Chooka

I come alive in the Summertime. And with good reason, I basically hibernate all of winter-cold weather is just not for me. Feeling too cold is the bane of my existence and if you’re around me when I’m cold I very quickly will become the bane of yours. I’m unbearable to be around when I’m cold so I do the only polite thing there is to do, I stay inside.

Once temperatures break the 70’s I’m back, like back back. I want to do everything (usually at once) which means full itineraries and a booming social life. Yaaaaaasss. The worst part about being fully booked is finding cute enough looks/wardrobe items to take you from event to event, oh no poor me. I usually find myself changing in my car or running home, but on some rare occasions (even more rare for shoes) I find items that are so comfortable and versatile that not only do I not need to change in my car halfway through the day but I’ll  actually want to wear it day in and day out. That’s the case with my Chooka Sandals, I’m obsessed. They are both trendy and nostalgic at the same time-and don’t even get me started on the comfort. YOGA MAT MATERIAL foot beds, like, I shouldn’t have to say more than that…but I will. They are soo comfortable you guys and though I haven’t worn them poolside (yet) I love that they are waterproof. Versatility is major key. Now who had the 90’s style that was similar (sans the back strap) OMG these remind me of them sooo much! I love it!

The flatform style is perfect to wear with dresses and skirts for a dressier vibe and they are so lightweight, you’ll forget you’re wearing them all together. Ok, maybe not all together, but they are so light-lighter than any shoe I’ve ever owned. I need them in a variety of colors-my life would be made if I had a pair in every color.
