Love at first sight

What kind of shopper are you? Do you skim the racks or search with a fine-toothed comb? Are you drawn to the New-in or the Sales? Are you the type that tries on everything, sometimes even trying things on twice to double check, or maybe you don’t try on anything? I fall in the latter category on most days. It’s a rare day that I have time to just casually shop, sipping my latte, trying on clothes and taking fitting room selfies…Yeah, not typically. Boy, do I love when I am able to make a day out of it but usually I’m in, I’m out and to be quite honest I’m usually on point. That’s what years of shopping for me has done for me, I just know what I want, go figure. Take this top for instance, the grid print caught my eye and my heart on a recent trip to Nordstrom Rack, I saw the print and the shape hanging from across the store and I knew I was buying it in that instant, but to be honest I thought it was a dress. Like, I really thought it was a dress and in my head I was picturing it with my Jeffrey Campbell Brit Boot and this leather jacket but obviously it would be in dress form not tunic/top/whatever. BOOM! Grabbed it, bought it, took it home, set the bag on my dresser. Imagine my surprise when I go to put it on 2 weeks later only to realize that not only is it too short to be a dress but it actually has slits all the way up to the top of my rib cage, definitely not a dress. Now,  I’m not regularly one to wear tunics but like I said before, I really love this print.
