New Year “Resolutions”

How was everyone’s Christmas and New Years? I personally had a very low-key (see netflix with my dog) evening this NYE and had to turn to Instagram and Snapchat to live vicariously through you guys. (Let’s connect on both!) I don’t regret not doing anything this year as my boyfriend and most of my friends were working, on vacation or just keeping it chill however, next year I vow to go all out on NYE.
Mark my words.

Anywho, with the new year comes fresh starts, new beginnings, it’s like the ultimate Monday, even though this year it was on a Friday, you get what I mean. I don’t go too crazy with resolutions but I do use this time as an opportunity to refocus on things that may have been pushed to the wayside or completely forgotten about. I’ll try to focus in on a few things to work on personally in the next year, these have varied everywhere from get better at replacing the toilet paper roll to make more of an effort to reach out to family. Last year was filled with new experiences for me, new friends and opportunities I wouldn’t have imagined in 2014, with that in mind I’m embarking on this new year with so much optimism, faith, drive and open mindedness. I never try to become a different person in the new year, just to better the one I already am.
