It has taken me almost 15 years to be able to wear this color combination comfortably. Green, black and white when worn together always takes me back to my middle school days. Back when the school colors, therefore our uniform colors were green, black and white (plus khaki’s for the uniform, can I get a huge yawn?). The constant repetition and pairing of these colors in my youth coupled with the feeling of looking like my former adolescent self anytime I’d attempt to wear these hues together halted that altogether. This has been a true struggle for me because, as you guys know, a majority of my wardrobe is black and white and green is just a color that has always called to me (especially darker shades). This fun corduroy skirt is a great piece to have for Fall in Texas, the texture and color give perfect season appropriate vibes while it’s still lightweight enough to not sweat my ass off. Sort of. As the weather gets cooler you can add OTK boots or some tights underneath-making this a skirt I’m willing to make work. I mean, it’s not like all of you went to my middle school. Y’all have no idea!
