Y’all, I’m not going to sugarcoat things, it’s been hard at times to wrap my head around everything happening. I’m truly an introvert at heart and a happy homebody but being under mandatory shelter in place orders, knowing that people who don’t listen are getting sick and I mean seriously sick, and having no idea when to expect an ending to all of this is just a lot to handle.
Y’all get it. We’re literally all in this together, right?
Now, can I shift the focus just a bit? It’s still quarantine related but a little less serious (but still totally serious and stressful). Let’s talk about our hair for a few minutes.
All of us are struggling! Men and women alike.
We’re all looking to Youtube videos and online blog posts for tips on cutting and coloring our own hair (or our partners). Some of us for the first time ever. I’m right there with you! Lengthwise, I’ll survive. But girl these grey roots got to go! NOW!
I will not, CANNOT do another FaceTime call or Zoom party with grey roots! So I placed a to go order from my local grocery store, who, bless their hearts, are trying so hard to keep shelves stocked and everyone healthy throughout this whole ordeal.
Anywho, I placed my curbside order and my usual touch up dye was out of stock so my personal shopper replaced it with a new (to me) brand of box dye and today, after doing my own root cover up at home, I’m sharing my honest thoughts on it.
Check out my video for a full inside look at my very own grey coverage process (with dying tips) as well as all of my thoughts on the product!
I think a picture is worth a thousand words and clearly from the two photos shared in this post you can tell that my color looks refreshed, shiny and healthy. I love the color and the process itself was very simple but more importantly this product covered all of my grey hair! I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re struggling with root growth and want a simple at home solution that works.
