What do May showers bring?

I could’ve sworn the saying was “April showers bring May flowers” but this year May has been filled with showers, at least here in Austin. I’m just waiting for the flowers, can. not. wait. much. longer. Meanwhile, I’m taking advantage of any chance I get to enjoy the sunshine. Humidity aside it’s the perfect time to get out there and enjoy a nice patio before the three digit temps start up, if you can catch a sunny day that is. I lucked out and hit up one of my favorite trails for walking Duchess. The weather was perfect, a nice mix of warm but still breezy. The kind of weather that makes it possible to wear skinny jeans and a button down comfortable, you know, without sweating. A short sleeve button down of course, this is Texas. I love a good short sleeve button down. This beauty here I scored on a recent trip to Nordstrom Rack for under $20! Button down tops have always been my jam, I have long sleeved, short sleeved and sleeveless button downs. I stay top buttoned. This floral number is a newbie but definitely a fast fave.
