Spring has sprung in Texas, the showers have finally stopped and everything is blooming shades of blue, red and yellow. We’re packing away our winter sweaters and coats and bringing out the sun dresses and gasp, bikinis- more on that subject later.
This year has been a transitional one for me and my current wardrobe just wasn’t cutting it anymore, but I was stuck in this constant rotation of buying the same pieces in the same colors over and over. Cue Rent the Runway, a chance to step out of my fashion routine and try some new designers, shapes and colors, without the full on commitment of buying. I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone, slowly but surely, and this yellow frock by Acler has been a recent favorite of mine. The shape is so unique and flattering for basically any body type, check out the RTR reviews for other customer photos-it’s one of my favorite things about the site. Anyways, almost every review is singing it’s praises so I just had to try it myself and it was nothing short of perfect. It’s a great, movable denim and the color just pops without washing you out, plus the tortoise shell buttons add the chicest little touch.
Rent the Runway actually has a lot of great denim dress options available on their Unlimited plan in all types of shapes and styles. Gone are the days when you only looked to Rent the Runway for special events, their Unlimited plan has the cutest every day styles from so many different designers. I’ve found quite a few new designers through RTR and have even found a few new favorite brands.
If you’ve been looking for a chic denim Summer dress here are a few other favorites on my saved from Rent the Runway for the upcoming months.
