Spring has sprung in Texas, the showers have finally stopped and everything is blooming shades of blue, red and yellow. We’re packing away our winter sweaters and coats and bringing out the sun dresses and gasp, bikinis- more on that subject later.

This year has been a transitional one for me and my current wardrobe just wasn’t cutting it anymore, but I was stuck in this constant rotation of buying the same pieces in the same colors over and over. I’ve been stepping out of my comfort zone, slowly but surely, and this yellow frock by Acler has been a recent favorite of mine. Anyways, almost every review is singing it’s praises so I just had to try it myself and it was nothing short of perfect. It’s a great, movable denim and the color just pops without washing you out, plus the tortoise shell buttons add the chicest little touch.
