3 Years of Blogging in the Bag, What Next?

Yay another year of blogging and to be honest I know I fell off over the last year you guys. Juggling my previous job with blogging became impossible. Between the hour (both ways) of traffic, daylight savings and all around lack of motivation I was nowhere near as active as I wanted to be. Once I did have more time on my hands I was completely drained of inspiration and rather than just hop on here and throw any old post up just to give you guys something I disappeared while trying to refuel my fire.

I looked over previous posts and I reminisced on the campaigns I was able to collaborate on. I remembered the feeling of getting my content posted on the websites and social media platforms of brands that I wear, that I admire. Insane! Starting this blog I had hopes, yeah. I wanted it to test me, to make me learn new things about fashion, to put myself out there as a fashionable person. I knew I wanted to do something fashion related but had no idea what? Over the years I had really bounced from idea to idea, all in a fashion field or fashion related role. So this blog was going to be what helped me to figure out if I was more of a trend forecaster, a stylist or even fashion writer. What I didn’t expect was to also learn to be my own photographer, marketing expert, SEO amateur, PR professional and graphic designer. Long story short, this blog has taught me more than I could have ever imagined. It’s taught me to step out of comfort zones, not to be afraid to ask for more, how to say no, storytelling, time management and so much more.

As I head into this new year of blogging I’m excited to share even more with you guys. I want this to be a place where I can share more than just what outfit I wore or which runway show I’m obsessing over, though I’ll always share that stuff because it’s a big part of what you guys love. I want to add more travel, events and restaurants because each of those play big roles in my everyday life. But I also want to know what you guys want to see more of? I’m going to be conducting a few polls on Instagram so if you follow me there be sure to participate and get your opinion in!
