If you’re anything like me you stocked up on tons of halters, tanks, crops and other lightweight tops throughout Summer. This halter from Romwe is probably my favorite color, has been for the past couple of years and I don’t see that changing. I love how easily the soft color transitions into Fall & with Fall quickly creeping up on us I thought I’d share an easy way to shift your halter into the cooler temps, say goodbye to the days of tanks and shorts.
First off, trade in those cutoffs for some jeans. I recently have been drawn to destroyed girlfriend jeans, they’re relaxed without being too baggy which allows your shape to still be seen. I much prefer them to boyfriend jeans. The ones I’m wearing are from Shein and if you follow me on Snapchat then you know I’ve been wearing them nonstop since I got them. They are so comfortable, I ordered a size up for a more relaxed fit and I’d suggest the same for anyone else buying them.
Throwing on a heavy vest and some closed toed shoes are two sure fire ways to transition your Summer look into a chic Fall style until actual knits and jackets are necessary. Layering the vest over the halter gives the top a turtle neck feel which screams cozy and adds a little extra warmth too.
