Transitioning those Rompers

Confession: These are my favorite pictures I’ve featured since I started my blog back in February! I had the pleasure of working with the very talented photographer Carlos Barron a few weeks ago in a collaboration I did with Pink and Silver Fashion Truck, here. That was an interesting day to shoot, it was so muggy outside, the type where your hair falls before you buckle your seat belt. South beach Miami humid, the worst. Then to top it off it started pouring, not raining but pouring in the middle of our shoot and yet the pictures from that day were amazing you guys! I knew I had to work with him again, under better weather circumstances.

I can’t tell you how excited I am to see pastels and nudes everywhere for this season, getting that extra wear out of those spring buys is a definite win in my book!
Soft shades to mix with your soft knits

I’m always on the lookout for the perfect hat. I got this ready-for-fall, black, floppy hat c/o Pink and Silver Fashion (here) and fiiiinally feel like the search is over…for a black hat, for now.
As for other colors…

 I love the versatility of early fall mostly for the ability to throw on a summer romper paired with a blazer or cardigan. Layering a blazer over a romper is a go-to styling trick for me when I want to feel completely care free/comfortable but pull off a more polished look. Plus you can stock up on all of the fab summer rompers that are now going on sale and still get a little wear out of them before storing for next year when you get to pull them out again and think to yourself “OMG, I totally forgot I got this steal of a deal!!”
