What’s Black & Navy and Chic From Every Angle?

This outfit obviously.
Y’all, I’ve loonnngg been a fan of black and navy worn together so it being mainstream now is sort of bittersweet for me. On one hand I love not getting side-eyed from people thinking I’m committing some horrendous fashion faux-pas but on the other hand I’m now sure to be wearing the same color combination as at least 3 other girls in an averagely busy room. Whatever! If the worse thing you can say about your outfit is that a few other girls were dressed similarly-consider it a win!

I love this look because it’s so chic but seriously nothing fancy when really broken down. The long waistcoat is what really elevates this look’s chic factor, it’s a sturdy fabric with a subtle pattern and modern detailing that just ups the ante. Paired over an all black look this navy vest pops. I added a patent leather, pointy toed booty to really drive in the modern vibe and to me they are the real statement piece of the look.
