Winter Whites

Don’t pack away your whites just yet, there are definitely ways to wear white in Fall/Winter, from Tom Ford to Alice and Olivia,  it’s all over the runway!

This skirt is a summer fave of mine, you may remember seeing me wear it here to the very first Blogger Brunch I attended. The pleating detail has always been an eye catcher for me and I knew the mix of different textures from the skirt to the cable knitting on the sweater all the way to the quilted pattern on the clutch would add the visual interest I was needing in this all white ensemble.

The gold accents on both the purse closure and chain and the sweater’s zipper give this look a more ‘winter-feel’, I felt. Gold makes me think of the holidays, is it just me? The zipper on the sweater is the detail that closed the deal for me, get it? But really, I love the edginess it gives to an otherwise simple sweater. I bought this sweater last year but here are some similar ones, with zipper details: On sale & really cute.

I decided to finish off my look with some strappy, lace up heels in black to add a punch of contrast and edge to an otherwise angelic look.
