Yesterday Was National Dog Day

So we took our pup to brunch, duh.

With today being all about the pup I knew we were going to be spending time outside, even if that just meant patio dining, so I dressed lightly to avoid melting immediately. Classic white cutoffs were my first choice and hurraches were an easy follow up.

Not wanting a simple ‘cutoff and tank’ look I opted for this peplum top to add a little more allure to an otherwise basic outfit. I may or may not have also chose this shape to camoflauge any potential post brunch food baby. I’m not going to lie, I go pretty hard at brunch. It’s my favorite meal, it has all of the sweetest aka tastiest food choices, I just love it.
The peplum was necessary, lets just leave it at that.

I don’t usually share personal pictures, at least on here, yet, but I had to share a picture of this little cutie. This adorable little mug belongs to Duchess our year and half old mixed breed, rescue pup. We celebrate her everyday but yesterday we spoiled her and showered her overwhelmingly with love, even more so than usual. We took her to brunch, running at her favorite trail and even made her one of her most beloved treats.
